About me

I am Dr. Sara Al-Qattan, a specialist in gynecology & obstetrics. In my practice in Kloten, I take the time you need – for clear explanations, transparent decisions and care that fits you.

Personal

I was born in Kuwait and originally come from Syria. I lived in Germany for over ten years and have worked with people from many different cultures in several countries. This still shapes my work today: open, respectful and culturally sensitive.

Since 2013, I have been married and am the mother of two children. My own (high-risk) pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding journey once again showed me how valuable calm, reliable support can be.

Music, singing, painting and traveling the world are my hobbies – whenever time allows. And sometimes a single song on the way home is enough to clear my head.

My approach

Gynecology is often very personal. It matters to me that you feel taken seriously and safe. We assess symptoms in a structured way, discuss options clearly and decide step by step together.

In my own practice, I can deliberately plan more time. This way, we find the next safe step – whether that is treatment with us or, if needed, in close cooperation with specialized centers.
