Indications
- Reliable hormonal contraception with good cycle control
- Cycle disorders, period pain or heavy bleeding (depending on the situation)
- Acne (with a suitable choice)
- Alternative if long-acting methods are not desired
Process & counselling
- Short consultation about goals, symptoms, medications and medical history
- Risk check (e.g., blood pressure, migraine, thrombosis risk)
- Choosing the right pill and explanation of use
- Follow-up/adjustment as needed (often after about 3 months)
