Which data we process

Hosting and server logs

Our website is hosted in Switzerland. When you visit the website, server log data is processed automatically for technical reasons. We use this data to provide the website, analyze errors and ensure stability and IT security. Log data is stored only as long as necessary for these purposes.

Communication & appointment booking

If you contact us by phone or email, we process the information you provide to handle your request and organize appointments. For confidential medical communication, we use the HIN-secured email infrastructure.

For online appointment booking, we use the service E-PAT (Vitabyte AG, Switzerland). The contact and appointment data required for booking is processed. The provider’s privacy information also applies.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or analytics cookies (no Google Analytics). When using embedded services (e.g., online booking), cookies may be set by the respective provider. Details can be found in their privacy information.

What we use the data for

Legal basis

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law (DSG). Depending on the individual case, processing is carried out in particular for the performance of a contract (e.g., appointment organization), to comply with legal obligations or based on legitimate interests (e.g., IT security and operation of the website).

Retention period

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as long as legal retention obligations exist.

Your rights

You have the right of access and rectification and—where legally provided—erasure or restriction of processing. Please contact s.alqattan@hin.ch.

Security

Data transmission is secured via TLS/HTTPS. For confidential medical communication, we use the HIN-secured email infrastructure.
